Poem : Hide-n-Seek

pic courtesy : myniceprofile.com

Peek - a - boo
Happiness, where dwelleth you ?
In dreams, on clouds
Or in the song of my heart ?

Spring breezes in,
With promises unending,
Only to limp away,
Leaving nothing but dismay.

Autumn sweeps by,
Carrying all the fragrance and joy,
I long for my share,
But alas, hope turns to despair.

Cheer,
I beg of you
With open arms
And all my prayers
For once do go astray
And turn to tread my way.

  1. This is beautiful and melancholy at the same time. A rhyming testimonial to the vagaries of a despondent heart. The pictures add to the beauty.

  4. Ruprekha,

No words needed to say anything. Just too good. Happiness is within, isn't it?

    Take care

  7. Beautiful and spontaneous, just as these recent monsoon showers. But Ba, for once, let sadness go away from your poems. Try it. Just once. You'll like what the words do to your heartstrings...they'll strike a chord, make you sing and bring many more songs to you. And CHEER will itself hurry to you. Trust me...
